I didn't buy the bike!

Hmmm, how slack have I been?
It's been a while since my last Orble post (at least three months)! No, I wasn't abducted by aliens or hired by the FBI. In fact nothing out of the ordinary has happened other than life! Motherhood, study, work, partner - so many committments and so little time.
Anyway, some of you may remember my post last year about buying my son a bike, 'How do you teach a child to ride a bike?' If you need to refresh your memory click on the link (and maybe ignore all the comments - there were a few there).
Jack's birthday came and went with no bike.
I was still researching protective equipment.
Seriously.
Christmas came quickly around the corner and along with it, a scooter!
Jack loves it and looks super trendy (??) with his helmet, knee guards and elbow pads.
I wasn't too sure whether he'd need a cup or not.
We all love the scooter. Hubby loves it because he can keep up, Jack loves it because he can 'ride' it without any help. And me? Well, I love it because it's a shorter fall to the ground!
We've postponed the bike till his birthday this year (after he's mastered the scooter)....maybe!
